Hi, welcome! This is an episode of wackass things I found on stan twitter, a series where I dive into some ridiculous findings that you guys bring to my attention or things I unfortunately have the displeasure of coming across myself. My name is Angelina, I’m your host so you should subscribe because it’s only polite.

So recently blackpink have released a single with Selena Gomez called Ice Cream, and since the announcement of the song, people have been complaining. I made a video about why people were unstanning blackpink, and it was long story short, a lot of people angry that their collab was not with ariana grande. You can check out my video when you’re done with this one because we’re not about to mess with that watch time, unlike what has been going on with Blackpink’s music video. I can only image the watch time on that given the spam in the comments, but we’ll get into that later.

And I do need to point out, criticism is ok. When you put something out into the world, when you put art out into the world, it’s open to criticism and the larger the audience, the more opinions you’re going to find. So now matter how you feel about the song, I mean that’s valid. You think it’s a bop, you think it’s empty, that’s valid. I’m not going to sit here and tell you that you need to like everything your faves release, because that’s not realistic. You’re a human with your own thoughts about things and they don’t always need to be in line with your faves. But spreading hate is when it crosses a line.
